June 19th, 2014- The Chosen Ones from Manchester, IL have released their new CD "There's a Purpose". Mike and Melanie Rueter formed the group in 1974 and now 40 years later, and three generations strong, they continue to travel the U.S. carrying the straight forward message of the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. As seasons come and seasons go, God still has a purpose in each day. That is the message you will hear in the title song of their new CD release. The project has a variety of new music, hymns of the church and rebirthed favorites from past ministry years.
